General Disaster Program
Volunteers train for and then respond to immediate emergency needs as rescue workers, when 20 or more people are affected by a disaster. Disaster Functions include:
Disaster training and exercises are held throughout the year. You choose the field(s) that interest you. We encourage everyone to be "cross trained."

Volunteers can also participate with DSHR (Disaster Service Human Resource). DSHR is an internal program that sends trained disaster volunteers to assist another chapter due to a disaster. Travel in state, regionally, and nationally.
