Measles Initiative (all ages)
Each year, a disease barely remembered by most Americans kills nearly one million children, a half million of those in Africa alone. This is an International effort to help vaccinate 200 million children and prevent 1.2 million childhood deaths caused by measles in Africa.

Before the Measles Initiative In Guinea, Africa , measles killed more children than AIDS, it killed more children than tuberculosis, and it killed more children than malnutrition.

The South Central Chapter offers a variety of ideas & projects to help raise funds for this youth campaign.
